Doggie Day Camp

Doggie Day Camp is a day to let dogs be dogs! It's a full day of carefully curated play and enrichment

Day Camp is designed to meet your dog's needs so they come home tired, happy, fulfilled, and ready to be on their best behavior for you.

• Positive Social Time: Traditional daycare is too hectic for most dogs. At Barking Bear, we do gradual introductions and have play groups of 2-5 dogs monitored by a professional dog trainer to ensure that all play is polite, fun, and safe.
• Enrichment: Is your pup chewing your shoes or digging up your yard? Give them a parent-approved outlet for those behaviors that is allowed! Dogs at Day Camp get a chance to do what they find most fulfilling: sniffing, chewing, licking, shredding, digging, running, tug, chasing, novelty and more!
• Rest: Once or twice throughout the day, pups take naps in crates or in private rooms. This helps dogs learn to regulate their excitement and allows them to decompress in between play sessions.

• Extra Reps Towards Your Training Goals: Tell us your training goals and we'll get lots of practice to support your work at home. Skills such as recall, obedience, greetings, confidence building, leash walking, tricks and more!

• Day Camp Participation: Day School pups join in on play and enrichment activities in between training sessions.
• Learning for Learning's Sake: Old dogs SHOULD learn new tricks! Regular learning keeps your dog's brain healthy and helps them adapt to new and changing situations of life.
• Report Cards & Instructions: Every school day you'll get a report card on your dog's progress with personalized instructions (with video!) for training at home.
• Perfect for Puppies! Early experiences are really important! Day School is perfect for puppies to get socialization, fundamental skills, and practice being independent.
